— GRUS-1 Satellite Data to Be Distributed Globally through “EarthPaper”, Nara Space’s Platform —
Axelspace Corporation (“Axelspace”), a leading microsatellite company committed to making “Space within Your Reach,” has entered into a product partnership agreement with Nara Space Technology Inc. (“Nara Space”), a Seoul-based aerospace technology company.
Nara Space is a company dedicated to promoting the adoption and practical use of satellite data by leveraging its expertise in space engineering and digital platform development. Through its proprietary geospatial platform, EarthPaper, the company enhances both the accessibility and value of satellite data in the global market. Earth Paper is designed to refine complex satellite data into actionable insights for business operations and decision-making, while enabling seamless access to both new tasking and archived imagery.
Through this collaboration, imagery captured by our Earth observation microsatellite “GRUS-1” constellation will now be available through EarthPaper.
Axelspace currently provides wide-area, high-frequency optical imagery at 2.5-meter ground resolution from the GRUS-1 constellation, which comprises the first microsatellite launched in 2018 and four additional microsatellites launched in 2021. In 2026, the company plans to launch seven microsatellites of the next-generation GRUS-3 series, further improving revisit frequency, imaging performance, and spectral sensing capabilities.
The two companies aim to strengthen the global distribution infrastructure for satellite data and expand its utilization across diverse fields, including research, industry, and education.
