Promoting AI-based data analysis and services for industry and government sectors
Axelspace Corporation (“Axelspace”), a leading developer and operator of microsatellites dedicated to realizing its vision of “Space within Your Reach,” has launched the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Geoimage Pty Ltd, a leading Australian satellite imagery and geospatial solutions provider and SI Analytics Co., Ltd., a provider of AI-based satellite imagery analysis solutions. The MoU outlines collaboration in the development and promotion of geospatial data products and services for the Australian market.
Since 1988, Geoimage has been an industry leader in remote sensing technologies, distinguished by its strong partnerships with leading providers and advanced image processing and analysis capabilities.
SI Analytics, founded in 2018, a Korea-based geospatial AI company specializing in satellite data analytics, Earth observation and defense intelligence solutions. Leveraging deep learning and space technology, SI Analytics develops advanced platforms that transform large scale satellite imagery-Geospatial Foundation Model into actionable insights for governments, enterprises, and research institutions.
Based on this MoU, three companies intend to cooperate on initiatives related to Earth observation data acquisition, AI-cased analytics, and local service delivery. By leveraging each unique strengths and technological capabilities, they aim to accelerate the adoption of advanced geospatial solutions across industry and government sectors in Australia.
Axelspace operates Earth observation GRUS-1 microsatellite constellation, providing wide-area and high-frequency optical imagery. In 2026, next-generation Earth observation GRUS-3 seven satellites are scheduled for launch to further enhance revisit frequency and coverage capability. Axelspace has already made a products partnership agreement with Geoimage, and with the signing of this new tripartite memorandum, aims to further meet the needs of users in Australia and expand its presence in the market.
Mark Covington, CEO, Geoimage Pty Ltd, commented:
