Axelspace Corporation (HQ: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuya Nakamura) announce today that the launch schedule of the first three GRUS has been revised from the originally planned 2017 to 2018. Announced on December 2015, it will be the building block of Axelspace’s next-generation remote-sensing microsatellite Earth observation constellation.
The revision of launch schedule will allow modification of GRUS for the necessary enhancement, found during the advancement of production. The revision of the launch schedule for the first three satellites will not affect the completion timing of AxelGlobe, originally targeted for 2022.
