Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1981. Obtained a master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at University of Tokyo. Involved in investment banking in a stock company after graduation. Participated in Axelspace in 2009.
I am not involved in design and manufacturing of satellites but I use my knowledge of space engineering for relationship with outside people.
Satellites and Me
I was inspired to participate in space development after reading a book about Apollo 13 when I was in junior high school. It was also made into a movie. Apollo 13 had a serious accident in the middle of the manned flight to the moon, and the astronauts were forced to abort the mission and return to the earth. I was surprised by the capabilities of the engineers at that time and admired them. I consider the field of artificial satellite development (space development) to be a very challenging but exciting engineering field where we have to accomplish missions under strict conditions. Once a satellite is broken, the mission is over. Additionally, the environment of space is harsh.
What I Want to Realize
I want to realize a world where a myriad of our satellites orbit the earth.
I already have an experience in a long-distance relay and a half marathon, so I would like to challenge a full marathon.
The underwater world is fascinating to me because it is completely different from the ground. I would like to dive in the seas of the world.
Collecting souvenir magnet
I buy souvenir magnets on my trip as far as possible. The magnets is attached to the refrigerator of my home.
My Favorite Ramen
I go to the ramen shop near the office once a week.
