AxelStar is a nano-sized star sensor capable of determining high-precision attitude in real time.
Weight, size and power consumption are all drastically reduced compared to conventional star sensors, which make it easy to be installed into nano-satellites.
Up to 4 AxelStars can be cascaded to improve the success rate of star identification and the accuracy of attitude determination. OBC interface does not change even when multiple sensors are cascaded.
The hood for preventing stray light and the flange to be attached to the satellite can be selected from two types respectively, depending upon the request of the installation space.
